Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM)
The Clean India Program by KCS Foundation is inspired by the national movement of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, aiming to create awareness and action for hygiene, sanitation, and waste management across rural and urban communities.
🚮 Promoting Cleanliness and Hygiene
We organize regular cleanliness drives in villages, schools, public areas, and marketplaces. Our goal is to encourage people to take responsibility for their surroundings and understand the value of a clean environment.
- Cleaning public spaces, streets, and community areas
- Educating people about hygiene and personal sanitation
- Installing dustbins and encouraging proper waste disposal
- Distributing cleaning tools and materials
- Promoting handwashing and toilet use in rural areas
🏥 Free Medical Support for the Underprivileged
🧼 Awareness Campaigns
We run awareness campaigns through workshops, street plays, posters, and community meetings to promote:
- Safe sanitation habits
- Elimination of open defecation
- Waste segregation (wet and dry)
- Use of eco-friendly products
- Reduction in single-use plastic
We involve students, volunteers, and local residents to make them active participants in environmental protection.
👥 Community-Led Participation
This program thrives on the active participation of students, volunteers, self-help groups, and local residents. Our aim is to create a behavioral shift where cleanliness becomes a daily practice rather than a campaign.
